Veridict VomoteTM is a technological aid that connects via USB to an ordinary PC, enabling users to control their PC simply by speaking. Vomote continuously listens and acts on every spoken command from the user. At the same time, it keeps track of the state of all applications running on the PC and gives verbal feedback to the user, using synthetic speech. It enables people to use a PC without a keyboard, mouse or monitor. By adding a wireless headset, you do not even need to be near your PC.
Vomote was initially released to the Norwegian market in cooperation with Veridict’s Norwegian partner MediaLT. It is approved as a certified assistive aid by the governmental agency NAV. For additional info: product page at NAV.
